KarMarker - Find Your Car & Parking Meter Alarm Free app for iPhone and iPad

KarMarker remembers where you parked your car. If your car has a Bluetooth hands-free system, then it works totally automatically and does not require your intervention. KarMarker can also detect and use standard Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy devices as location tags. You may also manually set the location of your car every time you park.

You can also use this app to set an alarm or a reminder for a timed parking meter.

Note: For automatic location tagging, KarMarker requires your car to have a Bluetooth hands-free system. If it does, then NO other additional hardware purchase is necessary.

KarMarker requires GPS location services and Bluetooth on the device.

Battery Life:

KarMarker uses low energy cell-tower triangulation to detect when you move large distances. If you are stationary, the app stays asleep in the background and does NOT use any energy. If the app detects that you drove a large distance, and if so, it turns on the GPS momentarily to determine your accurate location.

The app can be told to disable function if the battery drops below a certain level.

We take your privacy very seriously. The app does not store or communicate your location to any centralized server or to the cloud. Your information does not leave the phone. The app does not require a data connection except to display the map and advertisements.

Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
